Essence Street Style Block Party #NYFW

New York Fashion week!

A week many creatives look forward to and I always try to make it to as many events as possible.
One event in particular that I always look forward to, is the Essence Street Style Block Party. Every time I attend this amazing event, I have the time of my life.

All the Melanin, Fashion and style, vendors, products, Celebs, music and much, much more shapes the awesome experience I have each year I’ve attended. I’m always ready to strut through the crowd, networking, dancing and just living.

This event always screams culture, so I thought P-R-I-N-T! I had to think of a fit for my baby girl and I, so I decided we would compliment one another and rock out. I styled us both in denim and a bomb African print I was drawn to in a Harlem boutique.

Dashiki’ and Denim has been the trend for a while, so I tried to switch it up and give us all a unique piece of clothing with the matching print.

This was Essence’ 3rd Annual street style block party and we showed up and represented our street style in a unique and coordinated way. I know you’re curious about our Fit details so i’ll leave them below. Leave a comment or statement and tell me what you think about our Fits.
